Replace Missing Teeth With Implants

Are you tired of hiding your smile? Do you have problems eating or speaking because of missing teeth? You may want to consider cosmetic dentistry. Consult with Dr. Dino Dee for dental implants in Honolulu, HI.

What Are Dental Implants?

Dental implants are prosthetic devices that are a great solution for damaged and missing teeth.

You will walk away from this extensive process with the look, function, and feel of your original teeth. We can replace one, several, or an entire mouth of missing or damaged teeth with implants. According to the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, about 3 million people have dental implants in the United States.

How Does The Procedure Work?

When you visit our office in Honolulu, HI, for dental implants, we will start the process by examining your mouth. Our staff will take X-rays and check the health of your gums and jawbone. If Dr. Dee feels confident that your mouth can handle implants, we will place titanium screws into the jaw bone. These screws will act as an artificial root for your replacement teeth.

Once the implant is secure, we must wait 3-6 months for it to fuse with your bone. When you come back, we will attach a post to the implant. This post will hold your crown - your new tooth. You won’t have implants overnight. Everyone heals differently, so it may take as long as nine months to complete. At the end of the process, your synthetic teeth will feel and function like normal teeth. You will also improve and repair your smile.

Artificial teeth still require care and maintenance, so don’t forget your follow-up visits to see Dr. Dino. Our staff will be available for questions and concerns long after your procedure.

Missing teeth can erode your quality of life and confidence. Contact our office at (808) 942-8877 in Honolulu, HI, for dental implants. Dr. Dino Dee can provide professional and compassionate care as he restores your damaged smile.
